In 2009 the most famous car chase movie 'The Italian Job' celebrated its 40th anniversary. The mark this occasion Mini Magazine used GPF146G, our Italian Job Cooper, as its cover car and main article - covering the building of this Cooper (a final article to the series throughout 2009 (10 articles in total). Sir Michael Caine and Remy Julienne were so impressed with the authenticity of the builds they have both signed all three Coopers, that's the perfect seal of approval.
Many trips were made to Paris in 2009, to the home of the movie stunt team L'Equipe - Remy Julienne. Allowing us to review the builds of each Cooper in turn, to ensure their accuracy was second to none.
Remy has been extremely generous with his time and over the period of these builds become a very good friend. We cannot than him enough for his help in getting these iconic Coopers reborn. Every single detail has been checked and sketched by Remy, to ensure they are picture perfect.
